Daycare and more!
Some time ago we had to find alternative daycare for our Doberman 'Diesel'. Our concern back then was that his current environment was affecting his behaviour. He arrived at DDI a little bit nervous, but was made to feel like one of the pack straight away and soon was running around, fitting in well. We have been using DDI ever since.
Diesel has become one of the regulars and as his owners we have commented on just how happy he is now.
Gail, Phil and their boys have not only provided a daycare and boarding service to us, but with regular walks and training, have also significantly improved our dog's social skills and general happiness.
We are very grateful to all of them for all the support and care they have shown with Diesel and can highly recommend their services to anyone who has need of daycare / boarding for their dog.

Buzz loved his 'room at the Inn'
We had always been able to leave Buzz with one or other of our kids when we went away for the odd weekend break but this time they were all busy so we asked Gail and Phil if they had room for Buzz. We knew that he would be very well looked after as Gail and Phil are great with all dogs.So we dropped him off on the Saturday morning and off we went until Monday evening.
Buzz settled in very quickly - he already knew Charlie and Henry well and soon got to know the other dogs. Gail sent us text updates and pics so that we could be reassured that Buzz was 'resting well' in between walks & mealtimes - he doesn't like to overdo things! His snoring is a bit loud though.
As he enjoyed his holiday from us we have booked him in again for his next 'home from home' stay at the Inn.

Second Home Service
After feeling dissatisfied with my previous doggy day care provider, I found Dog Days Inn. Gail was professional and prompt with her response, and we arranged a meet and greet. My 2 lively boxers, Roxy and Leo, very quickly felt at home, and we discussed the service Gail provides. Roxy and Leo spend at least 2 days every week with Gail .... and her 2 doggies. I enjoy seeing pictures that Gail posts on Facebook, while I am at work, and feel reassured that Roxy and Leo are having fun playing. They cant wait to get through the door when I drop them off and, although they are excited to see me, they are usually flat out when I collect them!! Gail and her family are professional, friendly and flexible. Not many businesses out there who do what they should... but this is one.
A big thank you for taking Toby at such short notice!
A change of plans meant I needed to find a home from home sitter for Toby our 3 year old Cocker Spaniel at short notice. After speaking to Gail late in the afternoon to explain I needed help the next morning, Gail immediately said she could have him. We picked him up on NYE and I could tell he had been taken for lots of walks. The DDI website provided regular updates of Toby throughout his stay. Highly recommended.
When can I stay again..... ?
Is definitely what our wee Greek fella would say, if he could speak English ! Gail stepped into the breach, with less than 24 hours notice, when we needed Tycheros looking after, at very short notice. Gail was so prompt in her " of course we can have him " and even went the extra mile when we asked if we could drop him off before the "opening-times" shown on the website. Clearly nothing is too much trouble for DDI. It was also evident that Tycheros had great fun, as on both nights back home, he was out for the count. We also loved the special touches of pics of our boy being put on Facebook. So re-assuring to know he's part of DDI family unit. A very content pooch and his mummies too. Dexter's a happy chappie when visiting Gail and Phil, and Ash and Miles too, he sees them as family:)
Dexter was booked in for a 3 night and 3 day stay at Dog Days Inn on TUES 5th nov to FRI 8th nov while my son Brad was in hospital for an operation and I didn't need a playful dog around whilst swinging my days around with visiting, washing, cooking, and being around for Mitchel as well as walking my other 2 terriers shorter walks. Dexter settled well and as he knew Charlie and Henry already, his stay was a happy one. I had to book him in the following Friday as Brad had to go back into hospital, Gail was great, I rang that morning asking if she'd have him for the day and no hesitation said yes, an hour later I arrived outside Gail's house and was dragged up the drive to the door, where a highly excited Dexter jumped at the door handle to try and open it before Gail could get to the door herself, once in, he ran straight out the back playing with her boys, not even saying goodbye. Picked him up that evening - one happy dog!

When the question arose who can look after our dogs so we can book a holiday we had no hesistation in choosing Gail and Phil. Knowing how Gail not only loves her dogs but every other dog she meets it was an easy decision. If you speak to Gail for just a few minutes her knowledge and love for dogs is obvious but more importantly all dogs just seem to fall in love with her. Did our dogs enjoy their holiday, well when we recently met up with Gail, Phil, Charlie and Henry while out dog walking as soon as they saw them our dogs ran to greet them all, enough said!

I have known Gail and Phil a long time and they are very caring about their pets . Fleck really enjoyed himself for the weekend we came down . I would highly recommend dog days inn 😃
Sid and Luka's home from home !
We left our dogs Sid and luka with Gail and her family for 3 days in the half term holidays. Having previously had a bad experience with kennels we were hoping this would be the way forward for our dogs when we go away on holidays.
How right we were to pick Gail (or as my 8 year old calls her The dog whisperer!)
Both dogs had a great time and were very, very well looked after and loved.
We have already booked them in for the end of the year and summer
2014!
Isla really enjoyed her stay
We have always known Gail and Phil to be passionate about their dogs and those they have fostered. We were delighted when Gail was able to have our ten month old labradoodle , Isla, for a ten day stay this summer, at very short notice when our original care plans fell through. Gail has a heart of gold and was not at all phased by Isla's prescription diet and we went away knowing full well that she would be well loved and cared for by the whole family in a home environment. In addition she would have the benefit of playmates Henry and Charlie! We know that Isla really enjoyed her stay as on a revisit her delight to see everyone was obvious. Gail, Phil, the boys ,Henry and Charlie got the "full body wag" and great excitement! Isla had clearly been very happy at Dog Days Inn.
